“Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”
Rumi

After working internationally for over thirty years in the corporate world as an HR Director, leadership development expert and coach, I now teach hatha yoga alongside my practice as a transpersonal psychotherapist.

I have practised yoga for more than twenty years and teach a safe, accessible balance of yin and yang hatha yoga that facilitates holistic wellbeing and a more compassionate relationship with the body, feelings and mind.  My teaching also honours the turning of the Celtic Wheel of the Year, extending an invitation to explore and live in harmony with the many ways in which the seasons and rhythms of the natural world play out in our bodies and inner life.

My primary teacher training qualification is with Simon Low and The Yoga Academy, whose teachings align with the yoga tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya and his primary students, T. K. V. Desikachar and B. K. S. Iyengar, whilst also incorporating the Chinese influences of Qi Gong and meridian theory.  My qualification is recognised and accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance Professionals UK.  I am currently training to teach Richard Miller’s Integrative Restoration iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation (Level 1), as well as restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater.  Other yoga and meditation teachers who have influenced me significantly include Tara Brach, Donna Farhi, Judith Hanson Lasater, Jack Kornfield and Sarah Powers.
